Indicted Maricopa County Supervisor Don Stapley has been appointed by the White House to a task force to help implement the economic stimulus package signed last month by President Barack Obama, and wants a judge's permission to travel to its first meeting next week.I know Stapley is the current President of the National Association of Counties and I have doubts about those indictments, but with all the problems the Obama Administration has had with its nomination process (with the tax cheating, corruption probes, conflicts of interest) you would think they would pick someone uhhh you know... less inidcted.
